Only Me on TV

When I was small, the TV was my best friend. I studied the screen for the secrets of life. I began to dream in narratives.

The stories we consume shape us and the limits of what we believe is possible for our lives. These narratives live within us. What happens when we decide to write our own story?

In this project every frame is an act of reinvention. I step into constructed scenes that are part memory and part future vision. I am writing my own TV show.

I used to fall asleep to the hum of my favorite shows, their background noise helped me to feel safe in the dark. Now I am the storyteller, alone - but not isolated - with the power to channel longing into something fearless. By rewriting my narrative I am reshaping my identity.

I am no longer an audience member. I am the director of my own unfolding story. Fearless, playful, and completely in charge of my narrative destiny.

Everything you see was made by hand, in camera.
