Two short screenplays I wrote were accepted to Massachusetts Independent Film Festival - which is exciting because I’ve never submitted my writing anywhere!
Actualization is a short film about healing from narcissistic abuse. I wrote the first draft by hand, in one go, sitting next to the ocean this summer. It’s a strange journey through a memory world where everyone tells the truth. I’m excited about bringing it to the world.
Fell Right Next to the Tree is a 5 page micro short about inherited trauma and my fear of vomiting.
I am excited for the students at UMASS Lowell as they begin their new festival venture! It was fun to talk with them about my filmmaking process + the benfits of festivals!
